The National Western Stock Show!
Finally went for the very first time. It was so fun and educational! It's happening from January 10 through January 25.
This year marks 120 years of the largest agricultural/livestock event in the USA.
There is so much to see and do at the Stock Show! A "pre-event" took place on January 8 with a parade in the streets of downtown Denver...from Union Station to close to the historic Brown Palace Hotel. The parade bagan with about 30 longhorn cattle, and there were lots of horses, too! Despite the rather cold temperatures, a large and enthusiastic crowd turned out.
In the Legacy Building you'll find a diverse number of experiences to enjoy such as two different Western Art displays and a history museum. The entire place is warm and welcoming and the volunteers are very friendly and helpful.
If you're in the Denver Metro, why not get your cowboy or cowgirl on and come check out the Stock Show?
